Reproductive Psychiatry

Reproductive Psychiatry is a specialized field that addresses the mental health challenges associated with the hormonal and life transitions throughout the reproductive cycle. This includes conditions related to menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause, as well as the emotional impact of reproductive loss.

I feel very comfortable treating mood, anxiety, trauma, and psychotic disorders throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. I also offer one-time consultations for individuals navigating fertility-related questions, particularly around psychiatric medications.

With specialty certifications in couples/sex therapy and additional training in women’s health issues, I provide a comprehensive and personalized approach to care. Treatment may include psychotherapy, hormonal evaluation, nutritional support, mind-body practices, and, when appropriate, medications—all tailored to support women through each stage of their reproductive journey.
