Borderline Personality
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a complex mental health condition marked by intense emotions, unstable relationships, a shifting sense of identity, and difficulty managing impulses. Many individuals with BPD experience deep sensitivity to rejection, fear of abandonment, and rapid changes in mood that can feel overwhelming and hard to control.
BPD is understood as arising from a combination of early life experiences, trauma, nervous system dysregulation, and genetic or biological factors. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take a whole-person approach that considers both psychological patterns and the body’s stress response.
Treatment is individualized and may include evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, somatic and trauma-informed approaches, and lifestyle interventions to support nervous system regulation. My goal is to help individuals build emotional resilience, develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others, and cultivate stability, self-compassion, and meaningful connection.
