Bipolar
Bipolar Disorder is a mood condition characterized by alternating periods of depression and elevated mood states such as mania or hypomania. These shifts can affect energy, sleep, decision-making, relationships, and overall functioning. Living with bipolar disorder often means navigating cycles that feel disruptive or unpredictable, but with the right treatment and support, stability and balance are possible.
In my practice, I approach bipolar disorder through a whole-person lens. Beyond brain chemistry and circadian rhythm, I consider the impact of trauma, chronic stress, inflammation, nutrition, and lifestyle factors on mood regulation. Treatment may include mood-stabilizing medications, evidence-based psychotherapy, nutritional and lifestyle support, sleep and stress regulation strategies, and mind-body practices.
My goal is to help individuals gain greater stability, self-awareness, and resilience—supporting not just symptom reduction but long-term wellness and an improved quality of life.
